The Restoration Process
Jan 26th
I’ve mentioned before, I love the word Restoration! It summarizes all that my life means and has become through Christ! However, it doesn’t just happen once you accept Him as your Savior. You must go through a process…
1)Acknowledge you need an update: just like the restoration or remodeling of a home, you must first recognize that it’s time to work on the project. You have to be able to recognize that updates, repairs, and replacement parts are needed, not just desired, but needed. Recognizing the need, you’ll be more willing to sacrifice what’s necessary to accomplish the goal.

Goodbye SuperMom!
Sep 22nd
?God, my life is a mess. How are you ever going to use me again? I don?t understand why you?ve allowed this to happen. Lord, please help me.?
I prayed those words countless times over the past four years. In 2006, I was diagnosed with a crippling autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, which causes hardening of the hips, spine, and major organs. Within months of the first symptoms, my life was transformed.
I was Super Mom. Maybe you know what I?m talking about: wife, mother, Kindergarten Room Mom, entrepreneur, Registered Dietitian, Bible teacher, crafter, family gourmet cook, and last, but not least, More >
Give Me Something REAL!
Apr 30th
The Bible teaches us to keep our thoughts focused on Christ.
What does that mean? How do we do that in real life?
Every time worrisome thoughts creep up TRY THIS:
- IMMEDIATELY talk to God about it. Tell Him what’s going on.
- ASK Him to guard your thoughts and help you trust in Him.
- FOCUS your attention on His Word. Keep your Bible nearby. Read it.
- REPEAT throughout the day!
…and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
A Sweet Secret
Apr 20th
?Let me tell you a secret,? I whispered to my six year old niece, Sophia. I pulled her close and cupped my hand beside her ear, ?I?m not just your aunt and you?re no longer just my niece. As she turned her head in surprise, big smiles spread across our faces. ?I?m really proud of your decision to ask Jesus to be the boss of your life.? With a nod, she responded quietly, ?Me too.?
That little secret must have made a huge impact on Sophia?s heart. Over More >
