Is He Holding You?
Jul 5th
I messed up today! I’m so sorry for not making a proper introduction to this week’s guest blogger…time just got away from me.
Please welcome Shelly Young as she shares her story of how the Lord revealed how He uses pain in her life. While dealing with her baby’s reparative surgery, Shelly comes to grips with how God strategically reshapes her own soul to be more Christ-like. Maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of yourself in this touching article. I know I did. Here now, is Shelly Young:

Have you been there? Always searching for something to make you happy, even for a few hours? Guest blogger Katie B’s love story begins with that deep longing for something real in life. After looking hard in vacuous places, Katie reveals how Jesus Christ grabbed her out of brokenness and filled her heart. WALKING ALONE?
May 31st
ARE YOU A GOOD PERSON? Many people wrestle with that question, imagining that if they only follow a certain set of rules they have made it into heaven. However, my guest author, Sunny McMurry, realized “good” doesn’t cut it when compared to a holy God. I know many women can relate to Sunny’s story of faith unveiled when confronted with the truth of the Bible. If you’d like to visit Sunny’s blog and give her a few words of encouragement, find her at http://motheringbyfaith.blogspot.com/. * * * * *

U-TURN AHEAD!
Apr 1st
I knew it was wrong, but I didn’t care. I was more concerned with college parties than living a life committed to Jesus Christ.
Just days after my high school graduation I boldly declared, “God, I’m going to have fun for a while. I’ll come back to you when I graduate.” Living out my promise, I spent the next several years in total rebellion. Every now and then I would actually listen to the warnings of my conscious, leading me to visit various churches. I never hung around for long though, because it was just too uncomfortable to be confronted with More >

LOVE GOD’S WAY
Feb 14th
Have you been to a wedding lately? If so, you probably heard 1 Corinthians 13—the love chapter—recited in the bridal vows. This passage of Scripture, arguably one of the most recognized Bible verses, reveals the nature of true love:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
