WHERE DOES GOD HAVE YOU?
Mar 23rd
“You just need a miracle,” my friend observed.
I didn’t argue with her. My life was a shell of existence, confined to bed because of a painful autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. My body refused to work properly, relentlessly wracked with pain and fatigue. Walking, standing, and even sitting, were complicated tasks that literally took my breath away. Ankylosing Spondylitis, an autoimmune disease which hardens the spine, joints and major organs, had transformed my healthy, vibrant body to diseased mess. Pain and immobility kept me land-locked on the couch or bed most days.
Fighting back tears—not wanting him to see my pain—I pick up the papers he dropped on More >
A Sweet Secret
Apr 20th
“Let me tell you a secret,” I whispered to my six year old niece, Sophia. I pulled her close and cupped my hand beside her ear, “I’m not just your aunt and you’re no longer just my niece. Now we are sisters in Christ. We are both part of God’s FAMILY.” As she turned her head in surprise, big smiles spread across our faces. “I’m really proud of your decision to ask Jesus to be the boss of your life.” With a nod, she responded quietly, “Me too.”
That little secret must have made a huge impact on Sophia’s heart. Over More >
