Happy New Year to you, too! And thanks for your honesty! I think apologies are SUCH an awesome thing to teach your children, rather than pretending to be perfect all the time.
I once heard Beth Moore say something about how our kids don't expect us to be perfect, but they expect us to be honest! And that's really what they need:)

God bless you and your family and I'll pray for your girls' quick recovery!- Audry Cece (www.thedontlovedare.com)

Wow, this post really makes you reflect and realize how magnificent the world is because he came. My father-in-law shared his discouraging perspective with me on Christmas day; apparently he thinks that Jesus is just a man, nothing more, and that nothing in the bible is real. I was heartbroken as I sat listening to his thoughts but I realized it was important that he was sharing them with me. I will be sharing this post with him and much more in the days, weeks, months, years to come. I have faith that one day he will believe. This post was thought inducing, thank you.

Thank you Kristen, God shows us things in his time. As I have been praying this long last week for answers about my fathers health I found it as I stumbled to your blog. I have been trying to control the situation instead of praying through it. Thank you for my gentle reminder. I thought I was coming to comment on your blog from the blog frog. Instead I was lead to learn. I am a new follower and friend. www.bringbackmadeinusa.com

Great post! Even though I have never been in a situation like that, I can identify with that desperate feeling of needing to be in the Presence of God so badly that not even a McDonalds bathroom floor can hold you back. What a beautiful story! And I am so glad your son is okay.
